Cleaning the floor with your burpees

I just want everyone to know this week is Toby's programming :o)

WOD:
50 cleans for time: 135#/85#
at the top of every minute perform 5 burpees and then get right back to cranking out those cleans

(See why I wanted you all to know this is Toby's week)

Jayne, Jenn S. and I just did a modified version of this WOD because we only had 2 bars. So, one of us did 25 cleans and the other two did either box jumps or burpees as long as the 25 cleans took. Then we rotated until we did all 50 cleans and one set each of burpees and box jumps. (jayne and Jenn S. 65#; Tracey 85#).

This is kind of cool, there's a extra motivation to get them done fast! The quicker ya are, the less burpees!! WOOHOO Lets see what happens.

OK, where to start.. as usual the workout looks great on paper. I'm thinking... cool, this isnt going to be so bad! HA! Whatever! Is this payback for me saying I liked yesterday and we should do this everyday? WOW, gotta be honest, that really sucked!! 135# cleans felt super heavy after not touching it for four months. I know my form was pretty bad. I wasn't dipping under it, more dead lift and shruging it up. Total time 13:52. 65 stinking burpees along with the 50 cleans... so glad thats done!!!

Good way to modify ladies, it's great to know you guys are still getting together, and good rounds on Cindy!! Jayne did you do kipping??!!! Jenn, attempting is what counts the intensity of the movement and the muscle use is what's going to help them get smoother.
Todd, I kinda like that aspect of CrossFit, looks good on paper sucks in real life, good job. Make sure you don't hit the weights to hard at first, give your body time to come back.
Nice, Joey. Hope all is going well with the diet change, let me know if you need any other changes.
